Although chandelier lighting will no doubt fit any décor and any style at any house, you can’t just go out and purchase a chandelier the moment you decided that you want one. Chandeliers, in general, are very versatile fixtures but there are so many designs that not all will fit a certain décor and style. Aside from the design, the materials used and the size, there are a couple more bits of information one needs before actually going out and buying that chandelier.
First of all, you need to consider the space that you’ve got for the chandelier. Even rooms with ceilings not quite as high as a hotel’s lobby can still use a chandelier, provided that it’s not too tall. To get the correct measurements, measure the height of your room from ceiling to the floor. Subtract at least eight feet from that measurement, and you would get the space you’ve got for the people passing underneath the chandelier.
